Overview

This course covers oil and gas drilling operations and technology. It presents an outline of well drilling operations from start to finish. Components of the course include drilling technology; rig components and movement practices; drilling equipment, well design and stability; as well as drilling fluids. The course will also give students an overview of the geology of onshore environments.
